Tim House was recently Hotel Director for The Idle Rocks Hotel and the St. Mawes Hotel in Cornwall, where he oversaw the development of the hotels, from rebuild to re-opening.
For the former, he rebuilt a management team, watched as the storms of 2014 destroyed the ground floor, and then oversaw the reconstruction, and re-launched sixty-six wet days later.
The Idle Rocks went from strength to strength, collecting accolades and awards, and began to attract a core of happy and content regulars, as well as attracting new guests eager to experience the rebirth of friendly service in a unique location with luxurious surroundings.
During that time, Tim also oversaw the re-opening of St. Mawes Hotel after a rebuild, refurbishment and re-staffing programme. A more informal, yet relaxed environment, the hotel, bar and restaurant soon became the alternative venue to enjoy St. Mawes from.
